How XBOX 360's games work on HD if they're made in DVD and DVD's max resolution...

...is 520p? I cannot understand how XBOX 360 games can be played in HD if they're made in DVDs and DVD's max resolution is 520p

Xbox upscales it to 720 p or 1080
